Free tangerines, water and sweets almost all day long. Very large and beautiful recreation area on the ground floor, you don't want to leave the hotel. The room is clean and very beautiful. The restaurant is just fantastic, we ate fish and pasta for dinner, very tasty. Breakfast is also great

Location was perfect, easy to walk to most main attractions and close to the train station. The staff were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was great and the room was nice and clean.

They gave me an upgrade, which was such a nice surprise! 😍The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was huge, modern, and included a bidet. I stayed only one night, but it was a great experience. If I return to beautiful Venice, I will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect—just a 3–4 minute walk to the water taxi station and about a 10–15 minute walk to the city center. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a restaurant and a small grocery store nearby.

It has the perfect location, very close to the Spanish stairs and the shopping streets. The staff was very nice. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the room. we were offered to upgrade to a bigger room and we did so and it was wonderful.

In a prime location in the center of Florence, Hotel La Gemma provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. The attention to detail is spectacular. We really appreciated the small things; the welcome note and chocolate, the welcome Prosecco, the attentive response of staff, help booking dinners, turn down service. We felt extremely well cared for and we would come back in a heartbeat. We did not have time to fully take advantage of the hotel offerings as there was so much for us to see in Florence. The breakfast is so beautiful and the cocktails to die for. Returning to Florence would be in part enticing to be able to return to La Gemma.
